Beyond that, he seemed the type to be overly fond of his adventuring equipment, fairly rarely seen wearing what could be considered more casual clothing when not within his home. The equipment he wore consisted mostly of leather and cloth, though usually some amount of plated armor was worn as well. Typically, he preferred keeping unburdened as much as possible while keeping what he considered "just enough" protection to defend himself most of the time.(Basically, the background image.)PersonalityPerhaps to some he could appear imposing at first, though the near-constant smile his face normally held would likely change those impressions. Along with his warm expression, an equivalent warmth could be found within his deeper voice, often calling out in greeting to people in proximity to him. At the ages 14-17 Rekkai was with a small, close-knit group that mostly fought against Garleans with little success and took up some mercenary work in between. Despite being so young, he didn't shy away from either type of work.2.) For a few years, starting at the age of 22, he was a gladiator that appeared in fights at the coliseum in Ul'dah. His sponsor listed him under the title, The Grizzly of Gyr Abania.3.) During the war efforts against Garlemald he was one of the many faces amongst the soldiers, spending some time in Doma, Bozja, but primarily within his homeland of Gyr Abania.
